Lucky Strike Bowling Alley

Grandma's turn to bowl!

We had such a great time today.....we celebrated Devan and Kip's birthdays by going bowling. We went to Lucky Strike Bowling Alley at the Block of Orange and let me tell you, this isn't your traditional bowling alley, it has movie screens throughout the entire place, billiards and a restaurant that caters to events like the Grammy's. They even have a dress code!

The boy's had a blast and when I asked them what they liked best about it they both agreed that it was watching Grandma Sandy and Grandma Hall bowl!

Women of Faith Conference 2006

As I sit here writing this I am reflecting on the last day of a half. Thanks to my sister Lisa and her incredible generosity I was able to attend this years (and 2007 too) Women of Faith Conference with my nieces Joleen and Aimee. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about it at first...thinking that it might just be a day full of 'overly dramatic bible worshipers'....but the reality of it was that is was a venue filled with 18,000 women just like me.

I am already looking forward to next years conference. For it will again be a time to be thankful and grateful for what God has given me, my health, my family and my faith.

Thank you Lisa!!!!!

First Day of School

Yeah, it's finally here.....the 1st day of school! Trevor is extremely excited, a little nervous but that is understandable considering its a new school for him. Matthew on the other hand, would have liked his summer to be a bit longer. Can you believe how big they are?

it's Alex P. Keaton......

You guys remember Family Ties with Michael J. Fox? Well this morning Trevor decided it would be a good day to wear his dress shirt and tie. He came out of his room sooo excited that he was able to put it on all by himself (lol). It was just too cute so I wanted to share :)
